Who we are
TimeBridge is a home-based child care service located in Edmonton, Alberta. This policy explains what information we collect when you fill out our request form, why, and what your rights are. It is governed by Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
When you send a request, we collect only:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- your email address;
- the service option(s) you're interested in and roughly how often;
- a short description of your need.
What we do not collect
This form collects no information about your child — no name, date of birth, allergies, health information, or emergency contacts. Please do not enter any medical or sensitive information in the description field. Such information, if needed, is collected only at the point of actual enrolment, securely.
Why we collect it
Only to contact you about your request, add you to our waitlist, and let you know about availability. We do not use your information for any other purpose and we never sell it.
Your consent
By submitting the form, you consent to our using your information for the purposes above. Consent is given through a separate checkbox that is not pre-checked. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where your information is stored
Your information is hosted in Canada, in the Canada (Central) region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the TimeBridge operator.
Who can access it
Only the TimeBridge operator views your information. The notification we receive when a request arrives contains no personal information — only a request number. We do not share your information with any third party, and our site includes no advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep a request's information for 12 months after our last contact, then delete it automatically. You may request earlier deletion.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you;
- have it corrected;
- withdraw your consent and request its deletion.
To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp. We respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
We may update this policy. Any significant change will be noted on this page.
